1. Who we are
TRGS Group is headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information described here and follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), as well as other privacy laws where they apply to you.
This policy covers trgs.group in English and Chinese, the TRGS agent, and emails you exchange with us about the site. Our products (Publiso, ARSC and Stradi Suite) have their own terms and privacy notices once you use them.
2. What we collect
What you tell us
- Conversations with the TRGS agent: the messages you type, the quick replies you choose, and the brief the agent builds from them (for example what you need, your goal and timing).
- Contact details you give so we can reply: your name, email address and, if you share it, your company.
- Anything else you send: an idea passed to the site through a link (
#initiate?idea=…), or an email to us.
Please do not share payment card numbers, passwords, health information or other people's personal information in the chat. If you do, we will delete what we do not need.
What is collected automatically
- Request information your browser sends with every visit: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. Our hosting provider records this for security and to keep the site running.
- Visit details with a conversation: when you use the agent, we also note your approximate country (when our hosting provides it), browser languages, time zone, screen and window size, the page you landed on and any campaign tags in its address (such as
utm_source), the site that referred you, how many visits your browser has made and when the first was, how long you have been on the page, and how the conversation began (typed, a quick reply, a product button, a link). - Analytics, described in section 5.
3. The TRGS agent
Conversations are recorded and read by our team. Whenever you use the agent, a copy of the conversation goes to TRGS's internal inbox, together with the visit details above, whether or not you send a brief. If you send a brief, it also goes to our team with your contact details, and you receive a receipt by email.
The agent's replies come from an AI language model that TRGS operates itself; your messages are not sent to third-party AI services, and we do not use your conversations to train AI models. We review conversations to answer you, to improve the agent's instructions and knowledge, and to keep the service safe.
The agent can be wrong, and it hands questions it cannot answer from what it knows to a person. Its replies are general information, not commitments: see our Terms of Use. A conversation is also kept in your browser for up to seven days (section 6); Start over clears it there.
4. How we use it
- To reply to your brief or question and to discuss working together.
- To run the agent: your messages are processed to produce its replies.
- To understand how people find and use the site, and to improve the site, the agent and our services.
- To protect the site and its users: preventing spam, abuse and attacks, and enforcing our Terms of Use.
- To meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
We send marketing emails only with your consent, as Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) requires, and every such email lets you unsubscribe. Replying to a brief you sent is not marketing.
By using the agent or sending a brief, you consent to the collection and use described here. You can withdraw consent at any time (section 11); we may then be unable to answer your request. If the GDPR applies to you, we rely on your consent, on steps you ask us to take before a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the site.
5. Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to measure how the site is used: pages viewed, sections and solutions seen, how far pages are scrolled, clicks on links and buttons, the agent's steps and outcomes, page performance and script errors. We never send what you type, your name or your email address to Google Analytics. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization are off.
| Your choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Before you choose | Google Analytics receives measurements without cookies: nothing is stored on your device to recognise you. |
| Allow | Analytics cookies are set (_ga and _ga_…, kept up to two years) so visits can be counted accurately. |
| Decline | Your browser stops sending analytics to Google. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser counts as Decline. |
You can change your choice at any time in our Cookie Policy. We set Google Analytics to keep event data for 14 months. Google's own use of data is described in its privacy policy.
The site sets no other cookies. Our fonts are served from our own server, so viewing the site does not send requests to Google Fonts. Every cookie and storage item is listed in our Cookie Policy.
6. What stays in your browser
Some information is kept only on your device, in your browser's storage, and is never sent to us as such:
| Item | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
trgs-agent | Your conversation with the agent, so it picks up where you left off | 7 days, or until you press Start over |
trgs-visits | A count of your visits and the date of the first (reported with a conversation) | Until you clear site data |
trgs-consent | Your analytics choice | Until you change it or clear site data |
trgs-intro, trgs-lang-sync | Whether the opening animation has played; your place on the page when switching language | Until you close the tab |
Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of them.
8. Where it is stored
Personal information may be stored and processed in Canada, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. There, it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under local law. We require our providers to protect it to a standard comparable to this policy.
9. How long we keep it
- Briefs, conversation copies and emails: as long as needed to respond and to work with you, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we have an ongoing relationship with you or a legal reason to keep them.
- Hosting records: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them for security and operations.
- Analytics: 14 months.
- Browser storage: as shown in section 6.
Information used to make a decision about you is kept for at least one year, as BC's PIPA requires.
10. Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections, with strict security headers and limits on how often forms and the agent can be used. Access to briefs and conversations is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the regulators as the law requires.
11. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to its use, subject to legal and contractual limits. We answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
- In Quebec, you also have the rights given by Quebec's privacy law, including asking how your information was collected and having it transferred to you in a structured format.
- In the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability.
To use any of these rights, contact us (section 14).
12. Children
The site is for businesses and adults. It is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version; for significant changes we will also tell you on the site.
